BRIEF PROFILE+
Dr. Sarai Tabrizi obtained his BSc. in Water Engineering and Sciences (2006), MSc. in Irrigation and Drainage (20009), and Ph.D., in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering from the Science and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran (2014). Presently, he has been working as an assistant professor in the field of Irrigation and Drainage at Islamic Azad University since 2015. As an Associate Editor and Director-in-Charge at Water Productivity Journal (WPJ) and Journal of Water and Soil Resources Conservation (WSRCJ) and also as an Executive Manager at the journal of Agricultural Water Smart Management.
He has more than 15 years of experience in irrigation, drainage, hydro-informatics, catchments hydrology, soil-water-plant- atmosphere relations, rainfall harvesting, use of poor-quality water (saline/brackish, treated wastewater) for crop production, modeling water quality and vadose zone hydrology. Dr. Sarai Tabrizi has been awarded the prestigious prize of Young Professionals Award (Watsave Award) for designing a drainage-weighted micro-lysimeter from ICID in Mexico in 2017.
