Located in the Toyogawa Basin, Toyohashi, Toyokawa and Shinshiro city, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, is hereby included in the Register for its engineering design that includes head works in the form of “Ichimonji Seki” (a straight line crossing weir with a boat-way), automatic tumble gates and using advanced technologies of artificial stone construction more than 400 years ago.
