Located across Godavari River in Khanapur Mandal of Nirmal district, Telangana state, India, is hereby included in the ICID Register of World Heritage Irrigation Structures as an outstanding example of the irrigation structures constructed more than 100 years ago to provide irrigation to the dry state of Telangana benefitting several districts.
