Simon THIBAULT is an irrigation expert with over 15 years of experience in the field. He is full-time based in Southeast Asia. He graduated from Polytech’ Nice – Master’s degree in «Management of Hydraulic and Environmental Projects » – with several academic exchanges in Asia. Simon has more than 15 years of experience in hydraulic and agro-hydro development projects, especially in irrigation. His experience includes Participative Irrigation Management and On farm irrigation which contains formation and capacity building of Water Users Association (WUA), but also a wide range of fields from hydraulics, hydrology, water resources, rural development, flood risks, irrigation and drainage, water institutional policy His has proven effective communication skills in successfully undertook and conducted dialogues with government officials, clients, consultants, external donor agencies and other stakeholders on policy and reform in the agriculture and water resources sector His experiences covers Europe, the Caribbean
