(8713) Cavitation tank
Tank, for model experiments on cavitation , in which a free water surface is employed in the test section. The test section in the cavitation tank is necessarily larger than in the water tunnels completely full of water so as to be adaptable to the testing of open-channel structures wherein the model velocities are relatively low.
