1 - A displacement pump with pistons arranged as links on a chain. The pistons fill a pipe or passage, which acts as a cylinder. One end of the pipe is placed in the water and, as the piston pass continuously in one direction, the space in the cylinder is filled with water, which is moved through it to the outlet. 2 ?
