(4518) Mixed-flow pump, Screw pump, Angular flow pump, or Semiaxial pump
A pump embodying some of the desirable features of both the centrifugal and axial-flow types of pumps. The impeller imparts to the water an axial thrust, as does the propeller of the axial-flow pump, as well as an outward thrust, as does the impeller of the centrifugal pump.
