(4524) Deep-well turbine pump, or Bore-hole pump
A vertical shaft centrifugal pump with a rotating impeller or impellers, suspended from the pump head by a column or eduction pipe that also serves as a support for the shaft and bearings. It is primarily designed for installation in bored wells, but it may be used in ditches, dug wells, mine shafts, sumps, and many other applications.
